In this workshop, you’ll learn how to maintain a connected, responsive embrace that supports both partners—even when moving in different directions at once. We’ll dive deeply into alignment, timing, and body awareness so you can execute these movements with clarity, precision, and total confidence (no more fear of stepping on your partner!). While there are countless variations, we’ll focus on the most useful and musical ones—building strong principles that allow you to improvise with ease in social dancing.

This workshop is perfect for dancers with solid basics ready to step into intermediate tango territory, whether you're working towards Level 4 at Tango Tuesday at La Pista or seeking to build a stronger tango foundation for any advanced class.
