Explore the possibilities of tango through a weekend of classes and milongas dedicated to deep learning, creative expansion, and a full spectrum of music—from Golden Age to alternative tango.
Full Spectrum Tango is a weekend for dancers who want to deepen their experience of tango—through structured learning, inspired social dancing, and a wide range of music from Golden Age to alternative.
It’s designed to be welcoming, grounded, and creatively alive, with space for both growth and joy on the dance floor.
Whether you join for workshops, milongas, or the full weekend, you are invited to come as you are and experience tango in its full spectrum.

Grounded in respect, consent, and care for one another...
We welcome dancers of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels. Full Spectrum Tango is a space to explore tango in the role, embrace, and musical style that feels authentic to you.

Full Spectrum Tango is a reflection of my love for tango in all its forms.
Over the years, I've had the joy of organizing, teaching and participating in 100's of events. Through each of these experiences, I've discovered that what inspires me most isn't choosing between tradition and innovation—it's creating spaces where both can thrive.
I love the elegance of a Golden Age tanda, the creativity of alternative music, the intimacy of close embrace, and the freedom of open embrace. To me, they're all part of the richness of tango.
My hope for Full Spectrum Tango is to create a welcoming environment where dancers feel inspired to explore, challenged to grow, and connected through a shared love of tango in all its depth, creativity, and possibility.

FAQs
Full Spectrum Tango is for dancers who are already comfortable with the basics of social tango and are looking to deepen their experience. You don’t need to be advanced—just curious, engaged, and interested in learning, musicality, and connection. If you enjoy social dancing and want to grow in a supportive environment, you will feel at home here.
No. You do not need a partner to attend. This is a social dance environment with rotation in workshops and open dancing at milongas. While you can attend the workshops with a partner, many people attend on their own, and the community is welcoming and inclusive.
Full Spectrum Tango is designed around the idea that tango is not one style or one sound—it is a spectrum.
We combine structured learning with a wide range of musical experiences, from Golden Age orchestras to contemporary and alternative tango. The focus is on high-quality social dancing, creative exploration, and a warm, friendly atmosphere where dancers can grow without pressure or exclusivity.
Our intention is to bring together depth, creativity, and joy in a way that feels both inspiring and grounded.
The weekend features two carefully curated dance rooms:
Both rooms are designed for social tango dancing and will follow a typical tanda format. The alternative music room is not a “free-form” space—it follows the same structure, etiquette, and respect for the social dance floor as a traditional milonga, while expanding the musical palette.
We follow traditional milonga etiquette, including the use of the cabeceo, awareness of the line of dance (ronda), and shared care for a safe and enjoyable dance floor.
Rather than rigid rules, these are simple ways we help create a respectful, welcoming, and easy-to-navigate social dance environment for everyone.
The Workshop Pass includes all daytime workshops and practicas only.
The Milonga Pass includes all evening milongas .
The Full Pass includes all workshops, pracitcas and milongas.
All pass tiers (Access, Standard, Supporter) include the same experience; pricing simply reflects different levels of financial accessibility and community support.

Yes, if space allows. However, we strongly encourage advance registration as space is limited and workshops may fill. Advance tickets also offer a lower price than door admission for individual milongas.
The workshops are not a beginner tango introduction. It is best suited for dancers who already have familiarity with Argentine tango and are looking to deepen their skills, musicality, and experience.
